Our holiday apartments near Merano/Meran are located in the peaceful village of Scena/Schenna, surrounded by picturesque apple orchards and immediatly near Bistro Ofenbaur. The Passerhaus is the ideal starting point for bike- and hike tours along the Maiser waal trail or the Passiria/Passer river. In the immediate vicinity of our holiday apartments in Scena/Schenna, you also find a restaurant and pizzeria.
How to find us by car:
Arrival via Maia Alta/Obermais, not via Scena/Schenna. Do not enter “Via Leiter/Leiterweg 19” into your navigational system, but “Via Planta/Plantastraße 65, 39012 Merano/Meran”. Once you have reached your destination, it is only 500 metres further until you reach Passerhaus.
From Brennero/Brenner: Exit the highway at Bolzano Sud/Bozen Süd and continue on the MeBo towards Merano/Meran. Take the exit Merano Sud/Meran-Süd, then continue towards Scena/Schenna-Tirolo/Dorf Tirol-Val Passiria/Passeiertal. Turn left at Rametz Castle towards Merano/Meran centre, then drive towards Val Passiria/Passeiertal until you reach Piazza Fontana/Brunnenplatz. Here, in Maia Alta/Obermais, turn right into Via Virgilio/Virgilstraße, Via Planta/Plantastraße and Via Leiter/Leiterweg.
From Resia/Reschen: Exit at Merano Sud/Meran Süd, then continue towards Scena/Schenna-Tirolo/Dorf Tirol-Val Passiria/Passeiertal. Turn left at Rametz Castle towards Merano/Meran centre, then drive towards Val Passiria/Passeiertal until you reach Piazza Fontana/Brunnenplatz. Here, in Maia Alta/Obermais, turn right into Via Virgilio/Virgilstraße, Via Planta/Plantastraße and Via Leiter/Leiterweg.

Our partner Hotel Meinhardt **** is located in Scena/Schenna, about 15 minutes’ drive from Passerhaus Residence. Leave Scena/Schenna, drive towards Merano/Meran and turn right at the roundabout. At Piazza Fontana/Brunennplatz in Maia Alta/Obermais turn right into Via Virgilio/Virgilstraße, Via Planta/Plantastraße and Via Leiter/Leiterweg and then continue until you reach the end of the road.
