Skiing on Merano 2000

Skiing on Merano 2000 holds something for all ages, sizes and levels. The ski resort Merano 2000 is located on a sunny high plain above the spa town. Merano 2000 is especially popular among families and leisurely skiers, offering a total of 40 slope kilometres. Many of the slopes are relatively easy and ideal for beginners. Some of them are more demanding and thus only suitable for experienced skiers and snowboarders. Merano 2000 scores with its pleasant temperatures and lots of sunshine. Other highlights are the ski huts, which invite for a culinary stopover with good food and mood.

Val Senales Glacier – skiing in Val Senales/Schnalstal

You can reach the mountain station of Val Senales Glacier at 3,212 m in only few minutes. Once you have reached the top, let the ski fun begin. The slopes offer a total of 19 km and are ideal for beginners, experienced skiers, leisurely skiers and families with small kids. You can reach the ski resort from Merano/Meran by car in about half an hour. One highlight of the Val Senales ski resort is the wonderful view of the three summits over 3,000 metres: Palla Bianca/Weißkugel, Wildspitze and Similaun. Another benefit is the long season: on Val Senales Glacier, you can ski from September to May.

Skiing near Merano/Meran: Plan/Pfelders

In Val Passiria/Passeiertal, approx. half an hour from the city of Merano/Meran, you find the ski resort Plan/Pfelders. Located amidst a nearly pristine nature paradise you find close to 15 slope kilometres. Especially beginners appreciate these relatively easy slopes. But also pros like ski racer Felix Neureuther or Werner Heel train on the slopes of Val Passiria/Passeiertal. Skiing on Schwemmalm in Val d’Ultimo/Ultental

Should you spend your ski holiday near Merano/Meran, make sure to visit the ski resort Schwemmalm in Val d’Ultimo/Ultental. The resort with its 25 slope kilometres is especially popular among experienced skiers; but also among families. The Schwemmy Ski World and the Bärenhöhle Ski Kindergarten (bear cave) are a great experience for the little guests. Furthermore, the ski school offers a range of courses for beginners held by about 20 well-trained ski instructors.

This small and peaceful ski resort near Merano/Meran offers a total of five slope kilometres and four lifts. This ski resort is the right place for everyone who is looking to spend a laid-back ski holiday far from the wintry hustle and bustle. You can reach the ski resort from Merano/Meran in approx. 15 minutes. Families appreciate its manageable size, leisurely skiers the pristine nature on San Vigilio/Vigiljoch and little guests the ski club and ski school. This is skiing at its most relaxing.
